Timothy Law Snyder
Timothy Law Snyder, Ph.D., is the 16th president of Loyola Marymount University. He has been a distinguished educator, mathematician and academic administrator at Jesuit institutions for nearly 30 years. Prior to LMU, President Snyder served as vice president for academic affairs at Loyola University Maryland. His earlier positions include Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Fairfield University, and Dean of Science at Georgetown University. He earned his M.A. and his Ph.D., in applied and computational mathematics from Princeton University and also holds degrees in psychology and mathematics from the University of Toledo.
