Fr. Mario Prietto, SJ '62

Fr. Mario Prietto, SJ was born in Los Angeles and graduated from Loyola High School in 1962. He entered the Jesuits immediately after graduation and was ordained a priest in 1973. His assignments after ordination have included Director of Guidance at Loyola High (’74-’79), Principal at St. Ignatius in San Francisco (’81-’94), Director of Campus Ministry at Santa Clara, University (’95-’05), Rector of USF Jesuit Community (’05-’11), Pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows in Santa Barbara (’11-’13) and Superior and Campus Minister at Bellarmine Prep (’14-present).
