Dr. Brandi Odom Lucas

Dr. Brandi Odom Lucas is the Head of School of St. Mary’s Academy in Los Angeles. Dr. Odom Lucas works with students, parents and teachers to provide a rigorous, college preparatory education to residents of Watts and the surrounding community. In recent years, Dr. Odom Lucas has focused her scholarship on equity in schools. As part of this effort, she has worked collaboratively with the Dioceses of Los Angeles, San Diego and San Jose to ensure all Catholic school students are thriving academically, emotionally and spiritually. She currently serves on the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) Advisory Committee on Racial Justice, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles High School Leadership Council and Gonsalves Elementary School Site Counsel.
