Hostess Underwriting
HOSTESSES REGISTRATION
Hostesses will join a group depending on geographic area, sport or extracurricular activity. Each group’s hostesses team up to build a Design Table based on their chosen theme. Each Design Table offers merchandise, presents auction and raffle items, and so much more. The groups include:
- Aquatics
- Beach Cities/South Bay
- Baseball
- Basketball
- Brentwood/Palisades
- Cross Country/Track
- Football
- Hancock Park
- La Canada & Friends
- Long Beach and Neighboring Cities
- Lacrosse
- Park Hills Heights
- Pasadena
- Valley
- West LA
- Westchester/Playa
The Role of a Hostess:
- Underwrites the budget and fundraises for your group(s) contributions to the Luncheon.
- Mothers/Guardians are welcomed and encouraged to become a Hostess for as many groups as they would like to support.
- Attends group meetings, contributes ideas and helps support the group leader, known as a Creative Director, to facilitate the success of the group(s).
- Connects with friends, old and new.
- The fee to become a Hostess is $150 per group.
Benefits of being a Hostess:
- Hostesses have early access to first come, first served Luncheon seating (additional ~$75 lunch ticket to be purchased in order to attend the lunch).
- Participation in set-up week activities.
- Each Hostess’ son will be featured in the Cub photo display featured in your group’s Design Table.
- Hostesses have first access to exclusive merchandise at the Luncheon Pop-up Shop (Hostesses who choose to sponsor may also get early access to the shop).
Highlights of Past Luncheons
- This year’s Luncheon will be in Caruso Hall, the ideal venues to show off your creativity and enjoy camaraderie with your fellow Cub moms/guardians.
- Join nine decades of Loyola mothers/guardians in their mission to raise important funds for faculty and staff development.
- Create a lasting memory as you enjoy a catered lunch with Loyola friends old and new.
- Stroll through Caruso Hall and visit unique Design Tables appointed by your fellow Cub moms/guardians, while enjoying fellowship.
- Shop exclusive merchandise available only in the Luncheon Pop-up Shop. Get there early because these items often sell out.
- Know that your contributions have a direct impact on every Loyola student’s journey as they grow and become Men for and with Others.
