An entirely new play The Trials of Tom and Huck was inspired by Mark Twain’s 1896 sequel to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Not only was this loose adaptation written especially for the Hannon Theatre Company, it was conceived for a modern audience and a diverse cast. Funny and moving, the trouble the fifteen-year olds get into in the summer of 1850 leads to a dramatic epiphany which will shape the rest of their lives.
