Hannon Theatre Company's Fall Play

Hannon Theatre’s fall semester drama production, ‘A Manhattan Christmas Carol,’ will premiere on December 5th and run through December 8th.

It’s utter mayhem backstage on Opening Night for an Off-Broadway production of the holiday classic A Christmas Carol! The child actors have food poisoning, the lead actor is nowhere to be found, and the flying rig broke. And to add to the confusion, the sets and costumes have been repossessed and the backstage crew is enlisted as understudies. When a notorious loan shark arrives to collect from the producer, and the FBI promises to shut the show down, the wackiness reaches a fever pitch. 

But the show must go on! The classic redemption story of the miser Ebenezer Scrooge and his ghostly visitors is told like it has never been before with comedy, drama, and a whole lot of heart. Kick off your own Christmas season with this world-premiere farcical adaptation of Dickens’ much-loved story filled with laughter and the magic of theatre.
