Cura Personalis ProgramCPP DefinedCura Personalis, latin for "care for the person," seeks to promote personal development and holistic health through education. It is a basic characteristic of Jesuit education. It is not limited to the relationship between student and teacher; it affects the curriculum and the entire life of the institution. All members of the educational community are concerned with one another and learn from one another. The personal relationships among students, and also among adults – lay and Jesuit, administrators, teachers, and auxiliary staff – evidence this same care. CPP Mission StatementIn recognition and support of the ideals of Loyola High School of Los Angeles, we envision a partnership of students, parents and school personnel working to advocate and coordinate services for students who are at risk for chemical dependence or who are exhibiting signs of emotional distress. This effort will empower students to work to their full potential in academic, athletic and personal endeavors.
